Last weekend I partook in the inauguration day protest momentarily after work and marched with 100,000 people in downtown Portland getting soaked in the rain for the Women’s March.
I am told continuously to never mix my personal views with my business, but I want equality for all and if that bothers someone then so be it. If you have the power to help those that are being silenced, then do it. Help in any way you can. Write to the people that are supposed to represent you and make them listen. Spread knowledge of what’s happening in congress so that no one can turn a blind eye to injustice. March and fight and take action.
To quote Maryum Ali from the Women’s March on Washington, “Don’t get frustrated—get involved. Don’t complain—organize.”
