About a year ago my best friend and I braved the Tolmie Peak Lookout Trail at Mount Rainier National Park. The start of the trail showed us the beauty of Eunice Lake. One part of nature I’ve always wanted to see in person is a lake that reflects like glass. This lake made that wish come true.
This day was clear and perfect in every way. The whole hike we had a gorgeous, unobscured view of Mount Rainier. The 5900′ summit made for a chilly and mentally clearing end to the hike. Sitting on the edge of a cliff staring down the mountain and alpine lake view was worth the elevation gain.
